Strawberry Matcha Milk Tea
Strawberry season is finally here! At Teaspoons & Co., we absolutely love adding strawberries to everything. Instead of using artificial strawberry syrup, why not make it yourself? It's simple and delicious.
Make sure you are using the right kind of matcha! There are various grades and quality out there. To read more on the different grades. Click here! For this recipe we are using Teaspoons & Co. Uji Matcha Powder.
Inspired by the Boba Guys. Here is a recipe on how to replicate their drink!

Strawberry Compote
This fresh strawberry sauce is a great substitute for your regular simple syrup. Why not add more depth and fruity flavors to your iced tea and milk shakes?!
*Unused strawberry compote can be stored in the fridge for 2 weeks.
Ingredients:
60 ML WHITE SUGAR
60 ML WATER
2 CUP OF FRESH OR FROZEN STRAWBERRIES
Blend all the ingredients together using the "pulse" mode. Do not over blend it! Ideally, you want smaller strawberry chunks in the drink.
Pour it into a sauce pan and let is cook for 7 minutes on low-medium heat. Stir occasionally to prevent it from burning.
Let it cool and store it in the fridge.
